Getting ready for winter

GET READY FOR THE WINTER

As winter approaches we all need to be preparing ourself s and our motorcycles for the colder weather.

A few things to think about are batteries, fuel additives, bike covers and motorcycle battery chargers and if your still planning on riding over the winter some warm clothing, heated grips, winter protection spray, inner gloves, handlebar muffs and maybe a balaclava or some socks. These are a few things to make riding in the cold weather a little more comfortable and if your planning to store the bike over the next few months a decent battery charger and some fuel additive will ensure it starts first time in the spring when it comes back out.

Winters here and its time to protect your motorcycle.

Winter is now on us and it time to think about protecting your motorcycle. We have a good stock of products on the website ready to ship. Below is just a few of the popular winter buys.

PPF-52. Simply sprays on and protects metal, plastic and other parts from corrosion, winter conditions and road salts, completely washable.

We have this in stock in 500ml aerosol spray.

You should also be thinking about protection for your chain and for this we have Putoline DX11, this is a synthetic chain lube recommended for both o-ring and non o-ring chains.

We have this in stock in 600ml aerosol spray.

If your thinking of putting your motorbike away for the winter months then we recommend a Fuel Stabiliser, this preserves fuel and prevents oxidisation, varnishing and gumming of the fuel system.
